Milwaukee Area Wrangler Ride

June 28 @ 9:00 am

Route:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55777322

The route is an easy out-and-back using the Oak Leaf Trail and Interurban Trail. Most of the ride is on paved bike paths, with a few sections on city streets. Even without navigation, it should be pretty straightforward to follow.

The RideWithGPS route goes to Port Washington, but since it’s an out-and-back ride, you’re welcome to turn around whenever you’d like. Convenient turnaround points are:

  • Cedarburg: ~30 miles round trip
  • Grafton: ~36 miles round trip
  • Port Washington: ~50 miles round trip

If you choose one of the shorter options, Cedarburg is a great place to spend a little extra time before heading back. There are plenty of shops, coffee shops, and places to grab a snack in Cedarburg, Grafton, and Port Washington.

After the ride, we’ll head back to the Estabrook Park Beer Garden for lunch. The beer garden has a limited food menu (or you can bring in your own food), and people are encouraged to bring a snack, side item, or dessert to share if you want to.

If you’re looking for something fun to do afterward, the Tour of America’s Dairyland bike races will be taking place in Wauwatosa that day. We’ve attended in past years, and it’s always a great event if you’d like to catch some exciting racing. Here’s more info.

Looking forward to a great ride!
